Google Voice as iPhone app?

Well not exactly. It seems Google wants the app on the iPhone one way or another. Recently, Google has rolled out the new interface from it's Google voice site and it's rather a quite nice GUI.

Complete with keypad and settings and quick access to the call and SMS buttons. Contacts are also easily added. However, it still doesn't offer any notifications yet. Maybe Apple and Google will mend whatever happened and we iPhone users will be able to use a local app for our Google Voice account.

I also had mentioned about Black Swan but since I am a small blog they haven't approved my beta testing request. Browse over to their site and check out that Google Voice web app as well.

Update:
I forgot to mention that this site works on the Palm Pre/Pixi devices as well. I can't leave out the true originator in the mobile arena. After all I started off with the old Palm M series PDA's. At tines I still miss my Treo.

Adobe issues patches.

Adobe has patched eight security vulnerabilities, six of them critical, in its popular Adobe Reader PDF viewing and editing programs.

Many IT and Security experts urged consumers and corporate IT administrators to update Adobe Reader and Acrobat, calling the Adobe fixes more important for one of the first times ever.

Tuesday's Adobe update, the company's third since it announced it would patch Reader and Acrobat quarterly, fixed one flaw that hackers had already exploited.

Which screen is better?

Which screen is better? Well according to labs.moto.com the iPhone is the clear winner. Of course I knew that ever since I tried typing on the Eris and Droid. I never liked the screen even with scrolling. It seems the fluidness of the iPhone is hard to copy. I haven't had the oppurtunity to try the Nexus One since I am still on AT&T and can't afford the new unlocked or new 2 year contract. Besides I don't want it.

I think Apple will release a new iPhone with OS 4.0. And 5 megapixel camera with flash. Hopefully the home screen will be changed to encompass a news feed, weather, tweets or other active data. Can we say background apps! Apple please let me run Pandora while I type an email or post a blog.

Please.....

GodMode

GodMode!

It so happens to be the “Ultimate Power” in a Windows 7 environment. Although, one would expect to walk on water and such, this is no way possible with this set of power. It is only used to tweak system settings beyond regular user levels. It puts an enormous behemoth of tools at ones fingertips from a single folder (Not Bad Micro$oft).

All you need to do is create a new folder and remove the string “New Folder” and paste this string in without the quotes and no spaces.

“GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}”
Once that is done, the folder's icon will change to be similar to a control panel icon and will contain masses of control options for you to tweak your system…

Enjoy…
